1. 
The 488th nucleotide C in Exon 1 was replaced to T (CAG to TAG) by CRISPR/CAS9 technology and introduced the Q95X point mutation into exon 1 of the lama3 gene.
Correctly targeted pups were identified by PCR and further bred to C57BL/6JNarl to develop the colony.
