Strain Description
1. 
The transgene carried human PGK promoter and mouse full-length Cnr1
cDNA was transferred into fertilized eggs from FVB/N mice and the
transferred into ICR foster mothers
2. 
Mice carried Cnr1 transgene had increased kidney weight and increased the
expression of Cnr1, IL-1􀈻, and fibronectin in whole renal tissue extracts and
isolated glomerular tissues compared to wild-type mice.
3. 
Overexpression of Cnr1 did not significantly change blood glucose,
triglyceride, creatinine, or GOT levels.
