:
1.
The embryonic stem cells obtained from Internal Mouse Phenotyping Consortium (IMPC) was injected into C57BL/6 blastocyst to generate the chimeric mice. The male chimeric mouse was backcrossed to C57BL/6J females to generated Arhgap39 knockout-first F1 offspring. Conditional alleles, loxP-flanked exon 5 of Arhgap39, were derived by removing Frt-flanked cassette via Flp recombinase.

This strain carried conditional alleles is viable.
3.
Homozyous for Arhgap39 knockout-first alleles died at early embryonic stage.
4.
The numbers of intersections between dendritic branches and the concentric balls were significantly reduced in both apical and basilar dendrites of CA1 neurons in mice which carried removal of loxP-flanked exon 5 of Arhgap39 in neuronal-specific cells.
