Strain Description 1. The offspring from 129-Cacna1htm2IBMS/CCC and mice carrying Myh7- YFP.
2. Deletion of exon 6 in Cacna1h gene, corresponding to amino acid 216 to 267
3. YFP-expressing mice.
4. Both homozygous male and female are smaller than their littermate controls.
5. Diffuse regions of cardiac fibrosis were observed in ventricular walls from 10-week old homozygotes, and the size of fibrosis is accompanied with increased age.
Homozygotes had impaired relaxation response and abnormal cardiac vasculature.
