The transgene was designed with a luciferase and humanized HSV1 thymidine kinase (HSV1TK) fusion proteins driven by 10 times repeats of NF-κB responsive element.
2.
HSV1TK is truncated in N-terminus nuclear translocation signal sequence for 2 purposes, (A) To prevent infertile in males caused by carrying full length of HSV1TK gene. (B) To retain fluorescent proteins in cytosol.
