Strain Description 1. Deletion of exon 6 in Cacna1h gene, corresponding to amino acid 216 to 267
2. Both homozygous male and female are smaller than their littermate controls.
3. Diffuse regions of cardiac fibrosis were observed in ventricular walls from 10-week old homozygotes, and the size of fibrosis is accompanied with increased age.
4. Homozygotes had impaired relaxation response and abnormal cardiac vasculature.
